Did you know that there were 9 planets in our system? The 9 planets are: (from closest to the Sun to furthest) Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. However, Pluto is excluded from the main planets and now consider as dwarf planet since 2006.
Pluto was discover in 1930 by Clyde Tombough at the Lowell Observatory. It is the coldest planet in our solar system at roughly -375 ⁰F (-225⁰C). Pluto’s atmosphere is build from Methane and Nitrogen. While the chemical composition is probably 70% rock and 30% water ice. Pluto is also unique since it rotates in retrograde; spin backward and from east to west compare to the others. Pluto has five moons: Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos and Hydra, with Charon being the closest to Pluto and Hydra the most distant.
The gravitational force of Pluto is about 1/12 of the Earth gravity. Hence, if you weigh 68kg on Earth, your weigh on Pluto is only about 4kg!
